Post office workers strike over jubilee weekend

Post Office workers working at 114 Crown Post Offices, the post offices that are still owned by the State, are due to strike on Saturday June 4th and on Monday June 6th. After having endured a pay freeze last year, workers have been offered a ludicrous 2% pay rise. In addition supply and administration workers, including those who transport money to all Post Office branches will go out on strike on Monday June 6th, resulting in no deliveries or collections of cash to 11,500 post offices.
