Statement from the Anarchist Group in Sudan
To all the revolutionaries of the world, to all libertarian socialists, to all anarchists:
Today, we mourn the martyrdom of our comrades from El-Fasher, who fell defending their city, their families, and their own lives. They are:
Faisal Adam Ali
Radwan Abdel Jabbar (“Kahraba”)
Adam Kibir Musa
Abdel Ghaffar Al-Tahir (“Al-Sini”)
We also mourn the many young volunteers killed by the Rapid Support Forces terrorist militia, when their only “crime” was bringing food to the city’s inhabitants.
We, members of the Anarchist Group, call upon all comrades: the time has come to gather and unite against this authoritarian and destructive war. We must alert the world to the mass extermination perpetrated by the Rapid Support Forces militias, backed by the United Arab Emirates. These militias are carrying out racially based ethnic cleansing and genocide in service of perverse imperialist interests that seek to control resources and gold at the cost of blood. The world cannot stand idly by. Revolutionaries worldwide must know of our sacrifices and our struggle against savage capitalist terror, against bloodthirsty power, and against systematic ethnic cleansing.
Within the Sudanese Anarchist Group, we have lost comrades; some of our members have been wounded, others have died; still others face the imminent danger of war. Our families are suffering from hunger, a lack of medicine, and a shortage of food. We believed in anarchism in a country where authority is omnipresent, and we fought to defend ourselves, our ideals, and our unity. Today, we need you: reach out to us and support us so that we can resist the authorities and the Janjaweed.
May the revolution endure! May it be a poisoned blade planted in the hearts of tyrants.
